Fuck new design. Bring back the old design

New design? Why change what works well? I used them before the "new design" and they worked great. Now, with the "new design", not only does the sponge bubble up, but the soap just pops out of the hole. Why make a hole in the head of a sponge? I was Leary when I bought her and now I wish I didn't have her. It just wastes your soap.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

They don't seem to scratch things as much as regular greens. I just want the whole sponge to be biodegradable. UPDATE: The more I used these, the more I noticed that they don't release soap from the pen like regular ones do. I have to put soap on the bottom of the sponge before using it, which kinda defeats the purpose. I will definitely not buy these again. I changed my rating from 4 to 2 stars.

Scotch-Brite said this color was a bug

I always stock the beige original version of the sponge. Those are ugly oranges that I don't want in my beautiful kitchen (yes, I'm picky!). Send it back and wait for the correct color to come out in October, Scotch-Brite Customer Service Representative. They still have a hole you don't have to pull off, but the new hole is for their new gray wand, which will have a D/W liquid detergent release button. If you want to keep your old clear stick, just leave the plug on. But the plastic backs of…

I like it very much so far. I like that they are a neutral natural color. I have 7th Generation Ultra Power Plus Dish Soap, Fresh Citrus Scent, 22 oz. Clear Dish Soap (packaging may vary). I've been using dishwashing sticks for years and have found that I need to make sure the lid is closed securely and the stick is stored in a container larger than a sponge or all of the dish soap will spill out. Common sense. They seem to work just as well as "non-green" fillers. They clean well but are safe…

The only brand I use to wash dishes.

I don't have a dishwasher (well I do, that's me) so I'm going through these Scotch Brite dishwashers like it's none of their business. I've never had any problems with them. I've stopped using the regular ones since I started using the "greener" ones (the ones that are natural with tanned bottoms). I just like that they are more natural. They don't last as long as others, but that's okay, especially when I can get them at Revain for such a low price. I ordered 7 replacement nozzles and each…

Pros
  • Health & Home
Cons
  • boring packaging

This is not an environmentally friendly product. The description is misleading as only thin layers of cleaning are made from plant fibers, not the main sponge. This is a promotional scheme called "green wash" to make the product appear as eco-friendly when in fact it is not. The weird thing is that 3M has other cellulose sponges that they could use as a sponge base but have decided to stick with the traditional sponge. I will commend them for making the 3M box from recycled materials, even…
