You have to get it at the right angle to enter it. I've found that the key is to keep it on top of your sleeve rather than trying to serve while holding it down. This works very well and there is no need to laminate twice what you are laminating.

I finally have my laminator. This laminator is easy to use. Read many reviews before buying. Some of them said that the bags crumpled inside. There is a subtle art in that. You need to make sure it's flat and keep a close eye on it as it goes through the car. When I first received it in August, the sheet was hot after coming out of the laminator. My wife, a savvy person, has used these pouches to laminate many of the items she has made for personal use and gifts. She has designed book stamps for many of her friends (remember the books?) and the lamination protects them. I bought this laminator for my home office in March 2019, today I pulled it out to use and I was able to run one sheet through perfectly. After this sheet I noticed it was starting to smoke but I smelled burning glue so I figured it was just on the roller. I put in a second sheet and it didn't come out. A 100 pack is a heavier laminate and feels a bit "sticky" when you start pulling it apart, which I LOVE. This helps keep my document in place better.
