Scottish Knits: Enhancing Colorwork and Cables with a Twist Review

After trying this product, I have to say that I am truly amazed by the beautiful and vibrant colors that the Scottish Knits Colorwork Cables Twist brings out in my knitting projects. The quality of the yarn is fantastic, and the color doesn't fade or bleed even after multiple washes. As someone who loves Arts and Crafts, I appreciate the selection of colors and the ease of use. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it.

I just received this beautiful book and have not knitted anything yet. But I know this will soon be my first project! There are 24 schemes in this book, in color, texture, wires and lace. With the exception of one lace-trimmed jacket, the colorways are definitely not muted, but infused with surprisingly unexpected combinations of colors and patterns. I keep this book for three reasons: the Mackintosh Rose Chart, the Thistle Chart, and the Tay Tarten Color History. The first two lend themselves better to needle or cross stitch due to the awkward distribution of the tricolor yarn, and the third piece is a great example of poor knitting quality in this book.
