Scrabble Tile Changeable Letter Board Review

This is the cutest letter board I've ever seen. All of the other boards I looked at didn't create the rustic effect that this one does. It consists of many letters, numbers and pictures. The board itself is solid. My only complaint is that block capitalized large quotes are more difficult to insert and place correctly. If you like longer quotes, you might not like this board.

This is what I was hoping for and really liked the idea, but it's cheaply made. Some things are probably made cheaply, but you don't realize it. Not this one! There are stains, glue and the wood is light, like plastic, not smooth. The biggest hurdle to the deal was that the ridges on the letters are JUNKY! It's hard to tell when the wrong vox grains show up, but I measured. This is very noticeable with letters on the strips.

I actually bought this to help my daughter learn letters. I love that the tiles have upper case letters on one side and lower case letters on the other. I started them by finding the letter and then asked them to find a match. We then collected her name and the names of all family members on a plaque along with the letters she found. I think I could use this to help my son practice his eyesight, spelling and math. When they grow up we can write messages to each other on them.
