This scratching post is my cat Shadow's new favorite. He scratched carpets, so I bought him these. At first he wasn't sure but once he understood what it was because he liked it. They were also very durable. In the photo is the first one, I still have a completely different board. Have been using this pad for about 3 months. Would buy again. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the cardboard spills on the floor which needs regular cleaning and was told there would be catnip with it

When my first order arrived my senior cat took it right away. Unfortunately, she was fed up with it all and had to throw it away. Luckily there were two scratching posts in the order so the cat and I were saved. I just ordered another set so I always have one (or two) to hand. I have to say I was surprised by the size and thought only small cats could lie on it as shown in the notepad picture. Not true. There's my fat cat on it. Very happy with the scratching post, as is the cat.

We bought this when our kitten was only 4 months old. She is now 8 months old and still going strong. She likes to sit on it when she looks outside and it's the first thing she looks at in the morning after waking up. I mean, it can be a little messy (they all are), but it's easy to peel off the few pieces of cardboard that each come loose. I think with all the action there is. it's worth it and there's still a lot of life in it. Having 2 of these is also a bonus. Love seeing her on her whale…
