Something is wrong with this digitizer, 89% of the time it's fine, but sometimes it affects the iPad, causing random letters to appear in messages, and starts zooming in and ACTUALLY going insane. Unfortunately I didn't realize there was protective plastic on the front and back. There are no instructions, and there are no tabs to make it obvious as usual. I built it and it didn't work properly. Disassembled and naturally cracked, very cheap glass. Found the back sheet, removed it, and of course that was the problem. Buy another one now I think.

The screen looked fine until I went to install it. The metal camera mount (two small pins on top) did not line up with the holes on the camera. The corner of the digitizer broke when I had to pick it up again. I didn't even attach it to the frame, but the tiny amount of tape that touched when I tried to align the digitizer broke the corner into tiny pieces. Bought after getting a bad one from another seller. Works great after a bit of fiddling with the tape! The top or bottom half doesn't work for me at first, but that's entirely due to the tape being difficult to get into the connector. The standard LCD and digitizer tape are inserted so that the white line is flush with the connector. The reason we generally don't give 5 stars is that the frame and tools aren't included. If your bezel is broken it will need to be replaced, do not install the digitizer back on top of the LCD without the bezel, the adhesive is so-so it will go through with a good bezel but without the bezel the digitizer will not snap into place. in place.
