Buy with the home button installed!

Great video link. All necessary parts included. BE CAREFUL WITH LCD. I damaged mine by removing a bad screw. Strong hands are an advantage. Updated 12/23/2019. Lost control of the semi-touch screen. Defect after 60 days. Maybe an accident, but I had to buy another one.

Don't do that, what a scam.

First, I made a lot of these, so it wasn't Apple's first or last fix. The screen feels cheap, like everyone else here for $15, with no coating on the glass. It even came with a defect and is partially unreadable. Oh, if you want to change the home button, you'll have to fake it, because even that was a joke. There's really nothing good to say other than that they make the box look good. After speaking to customer service I believe this company is a scam selling $2 glass because they know people

Great price, patience required.

The old screen was difficult to remove because it broke, so I removed many parts. Suggest having a large surface to work on, after that you will need a vacuum cleaner. Do not try to wipe the LCD screen with glass, otherwise it will be scratched. I couldn't save the built in button so I used the button already on the screen. However, the instruments were great and the screen worked great. I got my iPad back at a great price. You must have patience. It also helps to have a magnifying glass as…

Non-working product

Screen was scratched upon delivery. I had to stop and send it back. His wife missed her very much. This is the third time I have replaced her screen after she dropped it. When I installed this, the middle panel didn't work. I took it apart and checked. A small crack on the plug was evident. I may have done this during installation but this is my third time on this and two others. I have requested a refund and will be sending it back. Let's see how it goes. Helpful people, broken product

I really liked this product: it was well packaged, with a reasonable tool kit and a few useful links to instructional videos on how to replace the screen. Did the first exchange and everything was fine until the tape failed and the corner of the screen started popping out. After sticking it back a few times, the corner of the screen broke: So back to the drawing board.
