I was looking for a rough towel and after reading most of the negative reviews I'm glad I took a chance and tried a rough towel because that's exactly what what i was looking for This is not for sensitive skin. It does an excellent job of exfoliating dead skin. The stretch is rather weak and the length is mediocre for me, but I'm happy with the stiffness of the towel.

It is a misnomer to rate this product as 'mild' as it is said to be slightly abrasive to exfoliate. I think it's best to say: it's as gentle as possible given the need for exfoliation. The rest works, doesn't mold, dries very easily. It does exactly what it's supposed to do without creating new problems, which is exactly what is expected of a product like this.

I was looking for something to exfoliate the skin on my back and this product did the job perfectly! Lightweight and much more convenient to use than using a large towel. It might seem a little harsh for people with delicate or sensitive skin, but it was perfect for me. It shrinks a bit when holding two ropes, but not enough to make it ineffective. I will buy again.

First back scrubber of this type I've bought. Does the job, it has a nice rough surface to pick up dirt but seems to build up during cleaning but could be user error. When I'm not using it on my back I actually use it as a washcloth and it rinses well and dries quickly so it can be reused and hung up for the next shower. I'm glad I bought it.
