🔧 Sea Doo Spark 900 Oil Change Kit: Filter, O-Ring, and NGK Spark Plugs for Efficient Maintenance Review

Sounds simple but it was really handy to be able to order a kit and know that all the parts you need are in stock and accounted for. The first time I winterized my skis myself, this kit worked great. Fingers crossed it starts in spring.

This worked fine on my 2018 Sea Doo Spark Trixx. I managed to change the oil and put in a new filter using the access holes. Too bad I can't fit new spark plugs without removing the entire top cap, they can wait as my unit only runs 15 hours, but I love changing the oil annually. My fluid evacuator was needed for this task to get the old oil out through the dipstick/fill hole. Good inexpensive kit, nice to have all the details.

I have a 2016 GTI and the filter is completely different. As you can see in the attached image, the dark (used) filter is much longer than the filter that comes with this kit. The filter in the machine has holes at each end. The filter included in the kit has a hole in one end only. So in the middle of my oil change I had to drive 20 miles to my local dealer to get the right filter for my oil change.
