Description of Sea YS 01 Solis Strobe

When the YS-01 is used with a camera with built-in flash in housing, use the Fiber-Optic Cable. Use of genuine SEA&SEA Fiber-Optic Cables is recommended. SEA&SEA strobes may not function properly if a third-party Fiber-Optic Cables are used (functions such as TTL auto exposure in particular). Increased light intensity from the target light.

Excellent Strobe for Water Sports

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I can confidently say that this strobe is a game-changer for water sports enthusiasts. Its bright light and easy attachment make it a must-have for safety and visibility .The only downside is that the battery life could be longer..

Great underwater flash but be VERY careful with the 1/4 turn to lock the battery cover in place.

I did 14 dives with this flash before the battery compartment flooded. I was very pleased with the performance of the device in TTL mode connected to my Olympus TG-6 camera in an Olympus PT-059 body. The power delivery up to 2ft is impressive and my underwater shots are much better than when using ambient light and custom white balance. The battery cover closes 1/4 turn. You can slide the lid to make it appear closed even though it isn't. Knowing this makes me feel confident that this problem…
