Country of origin on external hard drives

I received this item without knowing it was shipped from Europe, so the power supply was also European. Not too helpful here in the US. I had a spare adapter which luckily fitted, but it would be helpful to know the country of origin of all products. I gave this product 3 stars for the useless EU power adapter that came with it, other than that it's still a great external drive.

Power adapters outside the US

All power adapter reviews are correct. Right out of the box, it only offers European and Indian power adapters. I had to buy a separate adapter from Europe to America to make it work.

Product does not work in America

Product comes with EU plugs. I can't use the product and Seagate Support will not fix my issue. So, I have no idea about storage capacity or portability. I have contacted the seller through Revain but have not received a reply.

Drive is ok but does not state that all plugs supplied are European design. I had to go to BestBuy to buy a power plug for it.

Not Compatible with USA - External Hard Drives

I may have missed it in the description (and double-checked after I took it out and noticed) but this unit has European power plugs. I originally bought this because I've had very good luck with this brand, so I expect this one to be of the same quality.
