Application Make sure there is no pressure in the system being repaired. Clean the repaired surface from dirt, grease, loose rust, peeling paint, sand and degrease. Wear the supplied rubber gloves. Open the tape bag and pour water into it, let the tape get wet for 1 minute. Squeeze the bag several times to better soak the tape with water. Remove the tape from the bag and wrap it around the repaired section of the pipe or muffler, starting 5 cm from the edge of the repaired area. Wind 8-10 layers of tape. Use the entire tape as it cannot be stored after the package has been opened. Flatten the wound tape, while it should stretch as much as possible and press against the repaired surface.
