This strap is present except for the retaining clip. WHAT CHEAP, inadequate, poorly executed product development. It's built to break. Quickly! The strap is strong with excellent stitching, the hook is strong but what a weak point this clip has! It seems to be more of a CONCEPT than something to hold the hook on your boat when the strap is slack.

Now I'm only giving 3 stars because it came with no instructions which is no big deal. I could search YouTube for the installation. Another thing is that the description only said 2 inches 20 feet and didn't say anything about the 5000 lb max load capacity as stated in the Revain description. It doesn't look like it can handle 5,000 pounds. But I can be wrong. Let's see how long it lasts and updates status and maybe changes stars.

I bought this for my Shorelander boat trail and it looks like a well built solid replacement. Unfortunately I was unable to install it due to the way it attaches to the wench's drum. You will need to remove the crank drum to access the bolt that goes through the loop at the end of the bracket. I couldn't get the main grease out to take the drum off so it's still sitting on my bench until I figure out how to get the damn bolt out. You might want to check how your old device connects and you…
