Garbage Save money on a better product! I bought these for my boat and both sides were fitted together similar to how they solder around the extra pieces. Also, there are large blobs of clear coat on the solder joints that don't sit well and will stick to the surface you're trying to stick them to!

Remodeling a pontoon boat and wanted to add running lights, they looked great in the ad. Our wires are very small and difficult to connect, the adhesive backing didn't stick, the mounting brackets were tiny and difficult to install, and the lights broke very easily. However the lights were bright and made the boat look amazing, I just have to repeat them every year if I want them to stay in service.

These lights are a great purchase. I mounted these to my 12ft Jon boat with the included clamps and screws. The only thing I added was a strip of clear RTV to improve water resistance as they are mounted on the outside of the boat. Every time I get out of the water people wait for me to ask where I bought them. I am planning to buy back my 18 foot bass boat.

These green LEDs are very bright! I have only used 9.6ft per side on a 13ft kayak and these 2 ribbons alone draw 3.3 amps per hour so they are very bright which I love! The only reason I'm rating this 4 stars is because the double sided tape is absolute rubbish! Yes, I've wiped the sides with alcohol many times and they still come off and unfortunately I haven't even put my kayak in the water since I installed them. So I will buy a very good 3M double-sided tape.

Very bright. BUT. BUY A GOOD GLUE! I think they have an adhesive strip on them!? I put them on my boat and did NOT want to drill a million holes for LITTLE HANGERS (? what are those anyway? who needs to drill those or all of those microscopic holes?) so I bought 3M glue. it worked. The backlight works great and the adhesive backing is quite strong. Make sure you sand the surface lightly and wipe it down with a pre-coat surface cleaner before sticking, but it's been 2 months so far and all these lights are holding up great. Gorgeous lights, very bright Put on a 17ft fish and ski boat and let me tell you it attracts bait. Green lights are great for night fishing. Shad literally jumps in the boat. They don't hold up that well. I've cleaned slick areas just under the bumper on the sides of my boat with rubbing alcohol and then applied them and they don't stick very well. I would suggest additional third party glue. They're beautiful, bright, and don't use a lot of battery. Schools of herring immediately appeared around me, which made collecting the bait easier. I throw green dive lights on top of turning it on and it works like magic. I drilled a hole on the back of the ledge that is well
