Good container and easy to use. The container looks great. The spoon is easy to pick up and use. Unfortunately, the magnets on the device we received were reversed. Instead of the magnets attracting and holding the lid, they repel each other, causing the lids to always be lopsided and not hold.

Beautiful bamboo salt shaker with a built-in spoon. I like the rotating lid and spoon. The slot design prevents the spoon from falling out. Great place to keep your best sea salt. I keep Maldon in mine and it keeps it dry and ready to go. I bought one for my sister in law and sent it along with a box of Maldons. It's a great combo gift.

I needed something to fill pink sea salt from a Costco sized container. This is perfect for keeping on the counter while cooking or baking. The little spoon is a nice touch, not using fingers (or getting a spoon). I like that the lid rotates instead of being detached and doesn't have to be placed anywhere. The cover can be removed if necessary. I am very happy with this purchase.

There are so many salts available to us, I'm just learning, their tastes vary greatly. 2 new salt purchases, I wanted something more exotic to start storing these new salts and stumbled upon these little beauties. On a side note, they have an odd smell when first opened, but leaving them open overnight will definitely fix that. Give them a chance if you have. Adventures with spices and spices.

The spoon I received with the salt box does not reach the edge of the lid and is very difficult to remove for use. The photo shows the end of the handle on the edge of the lid for easy removal, but I got it too short. You need to pry open with an extra tool. This issue requires the spoon to be loosely attached to the lid rather than being inserted and flush so it cannot be stacked with other containers. Disappointing.

I've read reviews complaining that the spoon on this salt shaker doesn't quite fit the lid or is slightly imperfect. I would not have expected this. This is handmade. My spoon is a millimeter or two longer than the lid; So what? This is clearly handmade which adds to the charm. My basement smelled no different than the faint bamboo smell I was expecting. Overall I like this product, especially now that the smell is gone. When I first got it it smelled pretty bad which bothered me when food got in there. I washed it and then left it open and just sat for about a month before the smell dissipated enough for me to use.
