🔧 Tetratec Dw96-2 and Ap300 Aquarium Air Pumps Repair Kit: Second Nature Products ASN29523 Review

I think this is a very good kit if made by the same company as the pump. I won't know for a year when the pump will fail. Bought a replacement set.

This repair kit literally breathed new life into my air pump. Installation took about 20 minutes but wasn't complicated. It was a lot cheaper than replacing my AP300 pump.

This is just an air treatment improvement but does not include 4 conical isolation mounts which wear out in my situation. Obviously I need to buy a new pump instead of $4 bumpers.

One side of my AP300 pump stopped pumping air deep into the bottom of our tank. This kit was very easy to use. I slightly changed the side it needed. Now that the pump is back on, I see the other side needs finishing soon! Doesn't matter! Good product!

One of the membranes has already cracked due to age. Luckily I noticed this and didn't install it. I am using the kit on an AP 150 so I only need 2 of the 4 membranes but I was hoping it would replace 2 instead of one but now I only have 1 membrane left. At least the pump is working again.

I used this kit to repair a broken membrane on my Whisper AP150. Worked great! All necessary parts for the repair are included. Although the Whisper AP150 isn't on the list of pumps it repairs, it works great. The only difference between the 300 and 150 is that the 300 has 4 diaphragms and the 150 only has 2. So this kit will fix the ap150 twice!

When I received it was missing a damper valve but I just used the old one and it worked fine. I still give 5 stars because it was well packaged and the instructions were clear and everything went as it should with no surprises. Installed all the parts and was amazed at how well it started to work. Air bubbles appeared almost immediately. Works like a new pump. Even silent as one. Saved me from buying a new air pump for my aquarium. worth your money.

Fits but not worth the money. Despite the relatively easy installation, it took me two hours. My pump was about five years old and some rubber parts of the pump were cracked and not part of the repair kit. In addition, the pump features acrylic blocks that contain the mechanical parts of the pump. One had a stress fracture. Although the pump does not appear to be losing air, this is an indication that the pump will eventually fail. After installing the kit, the pump ran better for two months…
