Very good watch with lots of options to mute, change the sound and adjust. The IMPORTANT POINT is that after changing the time and setting whether it is AM or PM, you MUST WAIT at least 90 minutes for the clock to accept and execute the correct quarter and hour chimes

This watch is fantastic! I researched at least 6 hours before purchasing as I wanted the chimes to sound realistic and not too tinny (it's a 60th birthday present from my parents). I couldn't be happier. This is a beautiful clock that literally sounds like a real grandfather clock. I have an antique Seikosha watch, this brand does not disappoint. I cannot recommend this watch enough.

The time is easy to set but when setting the time only the hour chime sounded and after the start the quarter and half hour chime. You need to make sure you set AM or PM depending on the time of day you set. The ad said the batteries weren't included, but they came with a "C" battery. The watch and dial are beautiful. The call is very realistic. But my problem lies in the dial. I got mine on my raincoat with the headlights on. While the dial and numbers are beautiful, their golden sheen reflects so much light that you can't easily read the dial, especially when you're not nearby.
