🧣 Solid White Pocket Square by SelectedStyle Review

WARNING: The product description is a lie. It's not 100% silk, not silk at all. This is acetate, a very cheap material, 100% unnatural. How do I know? I'm a dyer and fiber artist and I work mostly with natural fibers, there are many ways to find out. Flame test, dyeability, feel, behavior in heat or humidity, etc. I don't want to disappoint you, but this is cheap acetate, not "luxury" as stated in the description, AT ALL.

Really very disappointed with this. We thought we had a winner, but the color of the 'white' pocket square is so different we can't keep it. The upside is that they seem to be of good quality for the price. There are many unnecessary fibers that need trimming and they are very thin. But damn, such a color. god awful. You need to change the description to ivory/white as it's just impossible to match with a traditional white shirt.

I bought these to use as the silk liner for the COVID masks I make so sizing was very important. 12 inch squares would be ideal. But I was very disappointed that they didn't meet the requirements. However, the quality of the fabric is excellent.

I bought this pocket square for my son's prom photo shoot. It really added a sophisticated finishing touch, and he loved it. Came know how I ordered it. No problem with that, whatever.

I bought this cloth to use as a clarinet cleaning cloth. I think it's impregnated silk. Hemming is a very simple single stitch that doesn't appear to have a locking stitch. For my purposes, I expect that to resolve soon. Like a decorative pocket square, I'm sure it's fine

This ivory silk pocket square will look very classy and elegant in the pocket of my husband's ivory tuxedo on our cruise this month and on any number of cruises beginning this month. I've been looking for this color for a long time.

When I received it, it looked like plastic. My brother is in college to be a fashion designer and they said rayon would melt like plastic if it caught fire. So we did a little experiment in the backyard using a 1 inch square. This stuff melted and smelled like plastic when we lit it. I couldn't use it and ended up throwing it away.

They are advertised as silk but are not silk at all. If I had to guess, it's a viscose blend. I bought them to die for silk collections and they've turned out awful. If you're looking for silk to die for, use the Dharma trade. I will never use Revain silk again.

What can I say. This is a piece of silk. The silkiest silk since silk has been in fashion. It folded into a nice square and didn't complain about being in my bag for the two-hour wedding I had to endure. James Bond would be jealous, and the Germans are jealous of perfect 90 degree angles with no kinks. Check it out, you might look good enough to catch the attention of the emotional girl next to you at the wedding.
