The best clippers I've bought. I shave my head once a week on the lowest setting and the cut is very smooth with no nicks. The clipper is very quiet and smooth-running, the handle is ergonomically shaped. Easy to clean and store, remember to oil each pair. Also works well when trimming the beard with attachments. Very good product.

The husband finally started using it, and he was very excited and satisfied with how this hair clipper worked. Good trimmer, bought it to stop spending money on a haircut. I used it for the first time with a trimmer 5 and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful everything turned out. I was about to use it a second time and the little lever on the front was in the wrong position buzzing in my head saying hmmm looks like I need a haircut because of the amount of hair falling on the floor , buzzed again, and then looked in the mirror, and I said ----. The clippers buzzed louder than expected. There was a "bounce" when held at certain angles - as if something was loose (perhaps it was?). When activated it kept activating the fuse in the socket - electrical problems? The suitcase was quite thin, there was no organizer inside - it looked like a big cheap suitcase that didn't always close tightly. I love Wahl products but this one really let me down.

Cuts very well and quietly until you have to clean the blades. Assembly instructions are not included and are not available online. I've spent over an hour adjusting the small cutter blade spring properly to hold tension, but there's no obvious way to do this. Hopefully Wahl customer service will get back to me quickly and help. Very disappointed with the design of this clipper and the lack of care instructions other than "lubricate blades every few cuts".

I bought this to trim my beard. I've grown tired of cordless trimmers over the years because at some point the battery will no longer hold a charge or the performance will simply drop. I love the size and feel of this trimmer and would highly recommend it!
