Well Designed and Fun to Assemble

The Mars Exploration car snaps together precisely and many parts can be assembled by younger children. Instructions are well illustrated but could use a section for assembling the real rubber tire treads to form a circular tire. The switch can power from either solar or batteries, and there’s no remote control to break or lose. Stickers have vivid color with clear instructions for placement. Overall it’s fun and satisfying to assemble.

Pros
  • The Selieve STEM Toys Projects for Kids Ages 8-12 is an excellent way to encourage children to learn through play
Cons
  • The vehicle may not be suitable for outdoor use in certain weather conditions

It is an easy enough toy to put together for younger kids. The induction is straight forward and frustration free. The assembled car itself is fun to play with.I also like it because the structure is pretty strong, which means you can expand it on top of it. I think it would be easy to add a microcontroller and some sensors. The car itself is strong enough for the added parts. You also have two power sources, solar and battery, for both the motor and added electronics.

Pros
  • This product is perfect for children who are interested in building and creating things with their own hands
Cons
  • The vehicle may be too expensive to replace if damaged or broken

This was fun to build

I built this with my 7 year old daughter. It took some patience nut everything came together great in the end. I would recommend this to anyone interested in STEM projects.

Pros
  • Upgrade 2-in-1 Drive Motor: Two ways to operate the car to rover. One requires 2x1.5V AA batteries (Battery not included), and the other powered by the sun, moves in the direct sunlight (include a solar panel). Kids free to choose to play indoors or outdoors. Children can not only play freely indoors and outdoors, but learn about solar energy and green energy
Cons
  • The vehicle may not be customizable enough to allow children to experiment with different designs

Great for my 7 year old

Made kids interested in wheels

Absolutely right decision to buy this one. Due to the covid 19 situation we are staying strictly at home. This item was brilliantly packed with everything you need to build a 4 wheeler. My 9 year old and I spent a great afternoon on a Saturday to build this one. Although it would be very difficult for her to build without my help. Thanks to the seller, it had everything even a plus screw driver! Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • Fun project for my daughter and I do together. She loves stem activities!
Cons
  • The product may be frustrating for children who struggle with fine motor skills
