Buyers be careful. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

I chose Sensodyne Rapid Relief to provide relief for my sensitive teeth. Didn't notice any difference to normal Sensodyne. However, after 1 week of use, I have noticed that the tissue under my lower lip keeps peeling off, like a hot pizza peeling off my roof of the mouth. After studying it, I realized that one of the ingredients is sodium lauryl sulfate, which causes skin irritation. I had to return the shampoo as the ingredient irritated my scalp. Now it looks like I'll have to keep an eye on…

Burned the inside of my mouth

As mentioned, this thing literally burned my mouth. It all started with bumps and irritation under the tongue and a general feeling of slight irritation. Now the skin around my lips is visibly swollen in my mouth and it burns when I eat. I haven't made any major changes to my diet or other habits and I feel like all the signs point to this toothpaste. I have tried many Sensodyne pastes and this paste has the strongest flavor. I've never had a problem in the past so I'm going back to one of the…

It really works! in toothpaste

I saw an ad on TV and thought what the heck I could try. I have several spots where my canons have receded (due to excessive flossing, according to my dentist!). Anyway, sometimes food is uncomfortable. So I tried this toothpaste. I brush twice a day and then put a small amount on my finger and rub it into the gum line. After 3 days I had absolutely no pain. I do this about once a week and now I have no pain. I still use toothpaste twice a day. I will from now on.

Pros
  • Sensodyne toothpaste that reduces sensitivity in just three days with twice daily brushing
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Warning! Oral care the best oral care

I've always loved Sensodyne. However, this depends on which Sensodyne you are using. If you have stubborn mouth ulcers, sensitive gums, bleeding gums and always that weird taste on your tongue and you are using this particular Sensodyne, look no further, you don't have a terrible disease but this toothpaste is. Apparently (don't quote me I'm not a doctor) some toothpastes contain an ingredient called Sls which is very powerful and can cause those flares. Since I've been using this toothpaste…

Pros
  • An anti-cavity toothpaste that effectively cleans and protects your teeth
Cons
  • A number of factors

Allergic reaction to oral care

I have been using Sensodyne for many years but this is my first time buying Rapid Relief. Never again. I tried it for the first time a few months ago and ended up with very dry and chapped lips, mouth blister and bad taste. I attributed it to a cold, but switched to a different toothpaste to be on the safe side. It cleared up. A few weeks ago I decided to try again to be sure and the same thing happened. This time I'm pretty sure it's Rapid Relief Toothpaste. If you have any allergic…
