It's not as wide as I thought it would be. Also, the XXL base does not appear to be designed for use with the sens umbrella holder. It just pushes in enough to stay in, but the design of the support rod inside the umbrella holder doesn't match the design of the handle on the XXL model.

This umbrella is just a BEAR to open and close. It takes incredible strength to open it by hand, it takes strength, muscle and at the same time it slams everywhere. I'm in great shape and strong but I'm still struggling to ride this thing. Very bad design. It's windproof so no problem with that. Another problem is that due to the unusual shape of the cap, water gets onto the shins and feet, which is very important. This product is windproof, but very expensive junk.

Disappointed in construction. I was expecting a solid metal center bar and got one made out of some fiberglass/fiberglass-like material instead. Otherwise it is constructed like any other umbrella. This item also arrived broken in the middle of the post office (post office and UPS should love shipping!). I think if it was metal it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe wrong, but still usable. For me, this item was a failure because the center pole was not metal. This reduced the durability of the product…
