Terrible Quality - Men

Terrible Quality. The screws come out and the lenses come out. This is my third pair and it continues. This time it happens after 1 month. And I can't go back. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • The Best In Its Niche
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Wonderful. These glasses exceeded my expectations

Amazing. These glasses exceeded my expectations. The quality is simply excellent. I have a big head so it's difficult for me to find sunglasses but they are perfect for me and fit my eyes perfectly. Lenses. oh, these are even better than my old Sportserengeti. just a different standard. Valued!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Without automatic controls

Nonexistent warranty support

The glass is good. The tribe fell apart in less than a year. They sent it in for repair under warranty but they returned it to me and said they no longer repair glasses. I've had Serengeti since Corning released them in the 1980's. Everything will be repaired free of charge. Impossible now. waste of money. Maui Jim is my other brand and their repair work is excellent. Stay away from the Serengeti.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Upgradable

Well built, but self-tinting?

Well built and very light for a glass lens. I have had many Ray Bans (heavy fliers/gunners) but this is the first Serengeti. I'm impressed with them, but three months later I still can't say I've noticed a photochromic change in lens density. My only other photochromic experience was with my wife's prescription glasses, they were much more noticeable in their change (grey). Buy them for the style, color and quality, but don't expect a drastic change in density in different lighting conditions.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Big and chunky

The lens does not stay in place.

These sunglasses have the usual excellent optical quality of the Serengeti, but either the left lens is ground wrong or the frame isn't the right shape. The lens comes out of the frame about once a month. I wear them every day. The first few times I asked my optometrist to put it back in, but now I'm doing it. The small screw comes loose so I don't know how long I can put it back in. Luckily I haven't dropped the lens yet, but that's only a matter of time.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not the best

Great sunglasses! on Sunglasses

I live in Arizona but will NOT buy these glasses during the sunniest time of the year (November). I think they are great! Best I've ever had from RB (3rd pair). The multi-colored RB goggles are great for sunny/evening and cloudy conditions. The fact that they are slightly curved to the side (similar to police sunglasses, but not mirrored) is particularly useful, especially since I have "dry eyes", am 73 years old and have had 6 eye surgeries (cataracts). and 2 retinal fractures). I think theyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great overall specs

  • I have my doubts

Amazing Serengeti for men

I don't often write reviews but these are the best sunglasses I've ever worn and the best Serengeti I've ever worn. I have a bigger face/head. They fit like a glove and hold up. You sit perfectly and close your eyes. They are very well made and durable. And then lenses. People talk about the best lenses, especially Maui Jims, Smith, Oakley, etc. I have them all and wear them on many occasions, but the Serengeti is my favorite sunglass. Many people are unaware that other companies have beenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

It's impossible to get better sunglasses. Period.

These are huge. I am a huge fan of Serengeti sunglasses and have had several pairs bought as gifts for friends and family. I used to have a Trapani model and it fitted my face perfectly. They would be perfect for Barry Bonds after the "Upgrade". I'll probably look around for another pair of Trapanis. The technology is still there and the view is as glare-free and beautiful as ever. Can you pay more for a pair of sunglasses but get the best performance? no Sengeti anti-reflectiveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

You NEED the Serengeti! The trucker agreed.

I love Serengeti sunglasses. This is my 3rd pair. The 1st had a gradient which I can no longer use due to medical reasons (I will address that later) and I bent/broken my 2nd pair beyond repair. I've been enjoying the Serengeti for almost 5 years now, the amber lenses really help driving and give a slight advantage in fog. I've been a 4x4 driver for almost 20 years and have driven over 2 million miles literally driving through Dr. The brown polarized lenses really help see a little further down

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things
