These canvas straps are very easy to install and very strong. I used them to make a canvas cover for the playset so kids can use the slide on hot sunny days. We've had a few windy rainy days and they've held up great.

When trying to use an existing male part of my fasteners, the inside of the new stainless steel fastener ripped open, very cheap/thin, definitely NOT "marine grade" after use only sent parts, got it working but they don't hold as tight as my existing latches because they will break the latch.

I've found this to be a good way to protect my arbor covers that don't fit snugly on the frame. I used to only buy kits from the hardware store, but they usually only had 6 snaps. i wanted more This set has the same clasps I used before but now I have 50 of them, I like that.

Good quality marine fasteners at a good price. ATTENTION: 150 pieces is not exact, so if you need 50 sets of clasps, please note that they may not be included in the package. We have pliers for attaching the snaps so it would be nice to be able to rule out the tool. We have ordered many of these kits and ended up receiving a few unwanted tools.

Due to the application I was concerned that the buttons would either be too loose or too tight. They're in between, which is great. Installation was easy and the tools provided allow you to add buttons to the fabric. I have my own hole punch and used it to make a small hole in the latch material. I suspect this sped up the process. Although it was a tedious job, my fabric is now attached to the frame the way I wanted it. I will buy again for similar projects.

The 'stainless steel clasps' advertised on the front of the box are flat lies. I'm a retired mechanical engineer from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I did a destructive analysis (grinder) to find out that the only part of this stainless steel fastener kit is a screw. If you look at the product photos you can see that the part that should be stainless steel is the entire male part of the latch.
