If you are purchasing this bundle you will probably want to simply connect the speaker wire from the back of the receiver to the wall plate or directly to the speakers. I do not recommend this product as it is 100% metal. If the red and black wires touch at all (and they most likely will), your receiver will turn itself off. That was an oversight on my part. I use shrink wrap to solve the problem.

I ordered mine direct from Sewell, I ordered both Silverbacks square and then straight so I can plug straight into my AV and angled into my speakers. nice packaging, the little screwdriver they come with isn't great but works, the dowels and set screws are very small, I needed safety glasses and a flashlight to get them out. But they connected easily to my Klipsch speakers and they look fantastic, I use 14 gauge wire on mine. I definitely recommend them, very good quality and good price.

These things looked perfect for what I needed. I then worked on connecting them to my 12 gauge speaker wire and it was a mistake. Countersunk screws are almost impossible to drive deep enough, and some came with a crooked screw or incorrect threads. The included screwdriver is easily damaged if attempted to use it to the point where the tip is unusable. I should have researched more but they looked great, too bad they don't work. Also, you have to be careful that they don't touch each other…
