🏍️ SHAD SH-29 Motorcycle Top Case Review

Perfect for my smaller full face helmet. The locking mechanism is ingenious and easy to use. Very versatile fastening system, also for individual assembly.

Second Shad case I've had. The old one didn't disappoint and I doubt this one will. If your vehicle has a trunk, the installation is very easy and safe. Depending on your application, longer screws may be required. A quick trip to the hardware store for stainless steel bolts and nylock nuts will solve the problem.

Great case. I like that it's detachable and very durable. I didn't like the mounts. They were made for a specific frame type. I couldn't use any of the parts in the box. It was necessary to make a universal mounting bracket. I had to go to the hardware store, buy all the new parts and completely fabricate the bracket. I'm still glad I bought the case. Aside from the mount, I love everything about it.

Seems to be a good design except the latch is illogical and difficult to open. I'm not sure what kind of "full helmet" they put in it; mine is Scorpion EXO, the case size is small and I have no chance to fit inside. Additionally, the locking mechanism adds 2.5 inches into the case, further limiting the fit. This is the third SH29 top case I own. The rest stayed with the bikes I installed them on when I sold the cars. This housing is currently installed on my CBR250r. I was able to attach the plate to the passenger rail by drilling a few holes and attaching the universal mounting plate that came with the case. This box looks great on the bike and allows me to either lock it or leave it where I can access or store things without using a key. It's surprisingly roomy for its size. I also have an SH-33
