I've just used my car for the first time and I really like it except for three things. First, the cable is too short. I don't like the fact that you have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting it when using it. The cable must be at least 10 feet longer. Second, you cannot turn it off on a machine. I rarely write reviews but I had to. DO NOT waste your money on this product! It's so cheaply made and doesn't evaporate but spits out cold water. There's no on/off switch, so you have to swing the handle ridiculously to get steam. You may get a burst of steam, but then there is no steam, only cold water comes out. love it! I have purchased additional pads and will in fact purchase more. I live where the red mud is and on a farm so I think I'll go through the stocks faster than the average person. I use distilled water and only put the cleaning products I want to use directly on the floor. This can break the mop, but I don't understand how to do that yet. I have black glossy tile floors with gray marbling in my 1000 square meter apartment. Feet, except for the cream fireplace. You can see every streak and speck of dust on it. I fought back on some of the negative reviews because honestly, you can't please everyone. Let me start with these negatives first. An earlier version of the Shark steam mop has a slightly shorter cord. So move to a different outlet. Problem solved. You have to pump it. Well, it's not a vacuum you just run across the floor with.
