The automatic drawer seemed like a great idea, but actually opening and closing the door is much faster. If you heat the liquid and the glass or bowl is too full, it will overflow when the drawer is closed. Third, the bottom of the box is thin and cracked in about 5 places and we don't even know how that happened. All in all, I feel like a sucker for frills I don't need. I miss my old plain microwave :(

Very poor quality, only lasted 8 months. Bought on 05/24/2012, installed in October 2012 after a kitchen renovation. Called June 7, 2013 to see if we have warranty coverage. Sharp specifically states that the warranty period has expired, although there are only 2 weeks left until the end of the warranty period. I feel really dumb for spending $950 on a lower quality microwave than my previous $240 microwave. Cooking was never consistent, but we overlooked that because we liked the style.

Sharpe Microwave Drawer has been with us for 2 years now. It took 3 calls to get support. The first shortly after we bought it - the mechanism that opens the door has shifted (which apparently happens quite often). This was easily fixed and never happened again. Cons: No turntable, so you have to be careful to spin every item that requires it (which is mostly the case)!
