It didn't thread fully into the standard hole saw arbor (2nd photo) Did it about halfway and it jammed like the thread pitch was broken. . Place it in a vise and secure with a wrench. Donated for this spike, no big deal. Start very slowly and at an angle until you get a groove, then straighten up. Worked well and was 1/3 cheaper than Lowe's and HD. The granite bar was left in the warehouse so I'll either have to figure out how to knock it out or it's done. If I need to make more than one holeβ¦
Cut holes in .24 inch thick ceramic tile. Easy to start and cut holes. Came out clean and made a good hole. I don't see any wear on the bit yet. A very beefy beat. I bought another famous brand locally for triple the price just in case it didn't work, but I will be back. This is from China. Arrived fairly quickly in the mail from China. I came across this solution screwed onto my standard angle grinder. I'm glad I did. He wrapped both sides of the firebox and most of the hearth in one piece. Just make sure you do it slowly, and if you have soft rocks, really hold on to the chopper as it wants to follow the path of least resistance. The only downside is that I wish it could
