It doesn't clean well if the hair is very thick

This may work for very young children with thin hair but I bought this for my curly curly 7 year old daughter and I have to use enough product to fully penetrate her hair for it to curl up not worth it. Doesn't seem to clean very well. Her curls are quite thick. Although she says she smells nice.

Pros
  • It's fine!
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Smells really good πŸ‘Œ and is good for my 2 and 4 year olds.

Smells really good πŸ‘Œ and makes my 2 and 4 year old hair so soft, extra manageable Update: It was very watery after use, this is my second purchase and the first was better than this one. I am not sure if I will buy here again πŸ€”

Great for wild curls

My niece has incredibly curly hair (Type 3A) which is owned by me and my brother in the family; However, both my brother and sister-in-law have very soft waves, and when it came to taming those curls, they turned to me for advice as I have the same type. Got this and the cream with the same scent to give her a Christmas present as I use it. Now they only use these products on their hair and finally they can be tamed! It moisturizes so frizz is kept to a minimum, cleans the scalp very well…

Supports curly hair!

My daughter has slightly curly hair. It's wavy in places, curled up really tight in places, and just plain flat in places, so you can imagine how much she resembles Reggity Ann at times. We started using it in her hair and suddenly her hair was the same consistency! It really helped maintain her natural curl and add moisture and shine! The only downside is that it's the consistency of conditioner, so you have to rinse it out right away or your hair will look greasy!

Shouldn't lather

For those of you who say you don't lather well. it shouldn't. Most sulfate-free shampoos don't do this. That is a good thing. You want little or no chemicals in your product. unless you do Anyway, I used it on my 2 year old and it looked great on his curls and quite moisturized his scalp. After that I don't have to add much product to his hair. Also, it smells more like coconut than anything else.

Great 2 in 1 conditioner for kids

I am a huge fan of this product and have been using it with my kids for about a year. I have several kids with different types of curls and this works great on all of them. It won't feel very slippery when you put it on, but if you let it sit for a minute it gets slippery and I can get through the toughest knots with my fingers. For my child with the thickest and tightest curls, the curls become more groomed and really shiny if left longer. For my baby with looser curls/waves, it's best not to…
