When I tried this V-brake I was blown away by the smoothness and precision of its operation .It provided strong and reliable stopping power that made me feel safe while riding downhill. I installed a SHIMANO Deore BL-T610 left brake lever on my MTB. I installed a new 1x connecting rod, so removed the old brake/shift combination and installed a BL-T610. It looks good and works well. Excellent Shimano quality again. The BL-T610 I use is painted black. It wasn't boxed by Shimano, I believe it's a new OEM part.
