It's easy to use and has a great community behind it. It also supports multiple languages, which is rare in other toolsets. The flexibility of Shiny is what I like most about this language. It allows me to build any kind of interactive interface. Also, it's very easy to get started with. I like that it is easy to use, understand and can be used in any programming language you want to work with. At least initially it was difficult to install packages or run programs because of dependencies issues but this has been improved recently.
