I'm in love with my old iPod shuffle, but Apple doesn't sell it anymore (or doesn't sell many iPods at all). I don't use an iPhone and was devastated when my old charger got wet and rusty and I couldn't use my iPod shuffle. $6 for a new charger versus hundreds of dollars for a new iPod or upgrade to an iPhone was a great decision and I received my order the day after I placed the order. Couldn't be happier!

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! This cable ruined my 4th generation iPod shuffle and iTunes couldn't even fix it. It took me THREE HOURS of troubleshooting to fix my iPod.

I chose used like new because I've done it before and got quality material. When it arrived in the Amazon Prime bubble wrap outer packaging it was untouched. Inside, however, the cable packaging was torn and dirty, like it had been run over by a lawn mower, and the USB sides of both were flattened. It looked like some of them were melted, others were scratched and some of the plastic was cracked. There was a sticker that said "Quality Tested at Amazon Warehouse" so I was very disappointed.

I've had an ipod shuffle with only one charger for over 3 years, I've always kept the charger but somehow it didn't fit, I went to Amazon to find a replacement, I was happy with the price, and the fact that you got 2 chargers for the price of one and it arrived quickly, thanks Amazon!

I couldn't understand why some people rated this three stars. Either it works or it doesn't work. Mine was ordered on a Thursday, arrived this Saturday and charged me the shuffle. No problem, end of story.

Connects to an old iPod shuffle to connect to a PC or MacBook for iTunes and any USB port for charging. Note that excessive flexing will wear the wires and damage the connections, which is common with most Apple charging cables since the wire-to-plug interface is not reinforced. I added some shrink tubing to make it last longer.

This model was purchased with USB hotsync and charging dock for 2nd generation Apple iPod Shuffle MP3 players. The dock stand didn't work because the plastic panel on the back of my Shuffle was preventing the 3.5mm jack from fully connecting to my Shuffle. This model was able to connect, open a portal and sync to my Shuffle while Dock Cradle could not.
