Excellent Product - Desktops

I bought a device to watch YouTube on a TV. Easy to install memory and disk. Connect the device to a power source and an HDMI cable. while everything works. Impresses with 3 outputs and fanless design. Very quiet.

It's also quite small so doesn't take up much space

I'm currently using it with 4GB DDR4 RAM and a 500GB hard drive. I use it to run PFsense and it works phenomenally. It uses Intel network cards, so there are no stability issues. Make sure to update the BIOS and disable serial ports before booting from USB to install PFsense. It's also quite small so it doesn't take up much space.

Wow, this shuttle system is great

Installed Linux and hooked it up to my TV and speakers to listen to music, watch movies, play custom screensavers, automate tasks, etc. with reliable open- source software . Always on, no heat, quiet, great buy.

Powerful net p value.

I've been buying these for years (last was XS35V2). This latest iteration has a pretty powerful processor for a nettop. The only issue I had with this model is that it requires a VGA dongle for headless operation (I use it as a small Debian server). This may be related to the BIOS, so a future update could fix this. Otherwise, another solid performance from the shuttle.

XPC Slim is great for desktops

Great little basic computer, runs great. I install Linux on it and I don't look back. Don't know what problems other owners are having (maybe Windows?). It's fast, flexible, and works great as a desktop. Despite being dual-core, it is fast (2GB x 2 dual-core). I highly recommend this little computer.
