good customer support.

I confess that the first attempt to connect this router took about an hour, but it was the first time I connected a router. But a quick call to support and I was set. I've had this router for a year now with no complaints. I connected it to a static IP and to a dynamic one with no problems. And it works great with Xbox Live. I recommend this router to everyone.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • The list will be long.

This thing is disappointing.

I've had the router for about 6-7 months and I can't say I'm impressed. Although it was very easy to install and it works, it needs to be restarted constantly. Due to the constant factory resets, I had to call tech support to find out how to fix the problem (security settings, router hard reset, etc.). They were helpful both times I called but it annoys me that I have to call at all. If I can keep this thing running (for months, mind you), why can't it stay running? Oh, and I've never gotten a…

Siemens Router - Klunker

I have a Siemens router. It worked great for about 6 months and then died. Siemens replaced it with another one and updated it, apparently because they admit the other one was unusable. The new "upgraded" Siemens router worked for a while, now its print spooling feature doesn't work properly. I spent about three days in tech support fiddling around with two Siemens routers trying to get them to work. I recommend everyone to avoid Siemens routers.

Very handy product

I'm just new to networking. I read reviews of various cable routers before deciding on this ss2614. It's very easy to set up. In just 5 or 10 minutes, I'm sharing the internet with two home computers. I can also easily connect my laptop to the router at any time. The only problem I had was sharing computers with different operating systems, Win98 and XP. One of the printers I have is relatively old and doesn't have an XP driver. But that's not a problem with the router. In general, the product…

Great little car

I bought this router and this router was better and much easier to install than linksys even if you know nothing about computers with its quick installation the book can connect anyone to this book. NO MORE THAN 30 MINUTES AND MY COMPUTERS ARE CONNECTED. LOVE THIS ROUTER

Ah, how easy! Best of Routers

I have decided to upgrade my existing hub to a router to take full advantage of my cable TV service and get the firewall protection I need. However, I didn't want to end up in technical hell during the installation. The Siemens router solved my problem with only one minor issue which was resolved by their amazing support staff late Sunday evening. The browser tool and instructions got me up and running in less than 15 minutes. The only thing that stopped me from giving this a 5 star rating is…
