Pros
- A well-made adapter from the Canon EF mount to Sony E. Before installing it on the camera, I immediately ated the software through the proprietary SIGMA Optimization Pro program (download from the manufacturer's website), version out of the box - 1.29, after ate 1.39. Tested work on lenses 1. SIGMA MACRO 105mm 2.8 EX DG, 2. Canon 24-105mm L, 3. Canon 70-200mm 4L, Sony Alpha 6500 and 6400 cameras. In photo mode, autofocus works fine on all lenses, tracking focus only works on the A6400, hits are 10 out of 10. In video mode (4K), autofocus (by push) works only on the Sony Alpha 6500, but it takes a relatively long time to focus, there is no tracking autofocus, only manual. On the camera Sony Alpha 6400 immediately only manual focus. Aperture control works fine on all three lenses, stabilizers also showed normal operation, while the icon of disabled stabilization is shown on the camera.
Cons
- The price is the main disadvantage. There was no warranty card for the 2022 in the kit, there is only a general one for all countries, with a sticker. aliexpress support says that a purchase receipt is enough, I hope in every possible way that you won’t have to use the guarantee. As for the operation of the device, while I like everything, I may add a review later.
