High Purity, 70 Mesh Silica Sand. Intended for Foundry and other industrial uses (not intended for appearance-grade uses as color may vary). Can be used for sand cores and greensand for metal casting. Kiln-dried, excellent handling and high-temp performance. Compatible with all types of core-binder systems (sodium silicate, furan, etc).

Excellent Quality Silica Medium!

This silica medium is perfect for my lab experiments! It is kiln dried, making it easy to use without any moisture content. As my tests showed, it provided consistent results and was much more affordable than other brands.I also appreciate that it comes in a sizable quantity so I won`t have to reorder anytime soon. The only con that i can think of is that it may not be suitable for all types of experiments. Overall, a great purchase for any industrial and scientific needs!

The photo of the product is not true.

The image shows predominantly brown sand with a rough texture. The sand I got was pure white and very fine. Not what I expected and too many problems to return.
