These coasters are the best I've ever had! I have tried wooden/cork coasters and sandstone coasters in the past and had no luck with either. None of them soaked up water from the glass sweat and wouldn't have damaged our furniture had they not put a paper towel between the glass and the stand. My last order was a Christmas present. I already have a set and I love them. No more dripping condensation from cold drinks. In addition, the foam core absorbs condensation so that it does not remain on the stand. My gift recipient told me that "these coasters work exactly as she hoped they would."
