They look a lot like dollar store. Had to return because they can't be stacked unless you use clear plastic lids (I can't have a two piece ice tray, we don't need a project to fill the ice trays). They should just sit on top of each other without stacking. Also, this product came with a "give us five stars" coupon on the box - it's not worth it.

I had high hopes for lidded ice cream molds. I thought it would stop splashing water on the floor. Unfortunately it didn't work that way. The lids were awkward to use and required fewer full cups to avoid spills, even when sitting on the cupboard. I had to put on rubber gloves while trying to slide the dice out of the trays to avoid the painful cold of my fingertips. Tried using for a few months then finally gave up and bought a replacement.

I doubted this would work. But thanks for the delivery. I bought them mainly to collect and store my herbs. So far mint, Thai basil have been produced. The silicone bottom helps a lot to push things out. If the bases are very hard after removing them from the freezer, leave the lid open, turn upside down and pour hot tap water over the bases. This should soften them up and they will immediately pop out with downward pressure. like her a lot :)

This is my first time using these ice trays. I just received them, poured some water in them after washing and let them freeze. I did as the product suggests - no twisting, no bending back. by simply bending them inwards and pressing onto the backs of the cubes. They immediately split in half. I'm not a big guy, I'm not particularly strong and I definitely wasn't trying to hit those ice cube trays. You are absolutely useless. Don't waste your time, effort and most importantly money.

I thought the makers of these ice trays were up to something when they reinvented the mousetrap. The PBA-free plastic was a big seller, but I also liked the fact that ice didn't get stuck to the bottom of the tray due to the rubber section that made it easier to squeeze out the cubes. Unfortunately, this good thing didn't last long as I found out that trays like Dickens (who the heck is Dickens?) leaked, causing water to pool and causing conditions in my freezer like a polar ice cap. UPDATE: After 3 months of regular use both bowls are now leaking. The silicone slips off the plastic. I just threw them away for an average Rubbermaid product. But now my freezer is a bit messy. Easy to use and perfect for my RV. The lid is ideal to protect the freezer during transport. I've been using them for 4 months now and one of the cups has started leaking. I think since my old plain plastic trays were lightly used for about 15 years before they started breaking I had some unreasonable expectations but these ice trays only lasted a few months, before the silicone started to separate from the plastic. They already had a little less water in them than the old bowls, but now they don't fill with silicone in the ones that have come loose. Although it worked great before. I really like these ice cream molds. I love the fact that they're BPA-free (don't use anything that contains it) and they work well in my always-stocked freezer. I don't like that I have to let her sit for a while. before removing the ice cubes from the tray. Don't you dare twist them or they might tear or break which is the only reason I deducted a star.
