I really like the bonus wooden spoon as it takes just the right amount and is just the right shape to easily pour loose tea into a reusable tea bag without making a mess.

It's not only durable but also charming. I gave some of my family members. Came with a small wooden spoon to scoop loose tea. Some people in the reviews complained about problems with absorption, but there were no problems from my side. Simply immerse the tea bag in hot water and it will not float and sink to the bottom of the mug. I think the small holes ensure that there aren't that many tea particles lying around.

A few of my herbs came up, but not enough to follow with my eyes! I am very impressed so far. Surprisingly easy to clean. Whatever you use, you have to scrape the tea off with your finger. I stuck my finger in and in a few seconds it was ready to wash. Also washes out quickly and easily. Filling the tea bags was not as easy as I expected. Although I'm making a mess, that's the least of my worries. The tea is very weak. The water doesn't flow well through the bags, so the tea doesn't come out. I have to squeeze the pouches multiple times during brewing to get some flavor into the water. I've left the bags in the pot for a few days and the tea is still weak. I regret not having bought disposable bags.

I really like these except I usually make tea in 14oz mugs and they don't have enough tea. The holes are smaller, so black and herbal teas don't really end up in the cup. But they are not small enough to prevent Roibu or Genmaichi from slipping. The supplied spoon makes filling easier. And cleans well enough when hand washed and completely in the dishwasher. If anything, 8 ounces will do. or less, these are the winners. I need them bigger to be practical.
