I liked everything about this product except that they can't be put in the oven on their own. I put mine on baking sheets but it would be nice if they held their shape enough that I didn't have to. I spray my cups before baking my Veggie Egg Cakes and washing them up has always been easy. Good product

I ordered these pans after getting so frustrated with cooking and removing egg muffins from my old aluminum muffin pan. I used them for the first time last weekend and they were amazing! I didn't have to grease them, the cupcakes came out without having to run a knife over them, and they clean up easily in the dishwasher. Definitely recommend them to anyone who cooks.

So a standard metal pie pan will hold 1/2 cup in each compartment. This pan holds 1/3 cup each spot. This means your cupcakes will end up being a bit wider and smaller than you would normally expect. Great for portion control if that's an issue because you'll end up with a full cupcake anyway. Bottom line - a box of Jiffy Corn Muffins makes 6 in this pan. Make sure you put it on a baking sheet as it's silicone = wobbly.

Tried but silicon has flaws. Silicone doesn't conduct heat like metal, so cooking time increases. Placing the pan under the silicone to stiffen it will also draw heat away from the cupcakes. The baking time is even longer and medium sized cupcakes take less time to bake than rimmed cupcakes. The quality of the product seems good after my first use. Love it! I use them several times a week and they have great success. There are a few things though. They need a baking sheet underneath as they are too fragile to use alone. It didn't bother me because I knew beforehand, but something needs to be considered. Also, I have a feeling that cupcakes come out better if you just rinse them and don't use soap too often. I like these muffin cups. I hated making egg muffins in my non-stick metal molds because they kept sticking no matter how much Pam I sprayed. These don't stick at all. Just a quick spritz and the egg muffins will be popping out in no time. The eggs didn't brown on the bottom, only on top, but that doesn't bother me.
