I've tried others that don't have a lid or the lid doesn't seal tightly and just weren't suitable for storing/stacking in my freezer. The lid snaps onto it and stays tight. Works great and folds well.

Nice big cubes, easily 2 drinks if you chill the cocktail while mixing. Just stubbornly out. The silicone is quite flexible, but it takes some effort to remove the first pair. However, using frozen ice is definitely worth it.

I have another silicone ice tray that is easy to use, so I already have experience. In this case, it is very difficult to get the ice cube out even if you pour some water on it. I actually ripped the corners and struggled to push the cubes out from the bottom. I would not buy this again.

Makes really nice giant ice cubes. They're great for a wide-mouth hydroflask (they don't melt that easily), but you can't fill them all the way or they'll get too big. I also pour an inch of hot water in the sink and put it in there for just a few seconds and the ice slides right out without curling.

The lower part (main water pans) is fine once cleaned and the strong plastic smell removed. I have other similar large silicone cube molds. But I only bought these particular ones for one reason. This was due to the lids, which appeared to snap securely into the tray with a "tongue and groove" design. The lid fits the rail, but doesn't resist it at all. Each mold tray makes 6 square cubes. They are not completely clear, but neither are other silicone molds. The cubes are perfectly square on 5 sides, only the top is slightly uneven. This is not a problem as we simply place the cube in the stone upside down so that an imperfect side is invisible. The cubes do their job perfectly, melting very slowly, keeping your cocktail cold and minimizing dilution. Each section has a slightly raised maximum fill line on the outside wall.
