We're on a cruise and on a long trip and I used this clip to keep small bills (5s, 2s and 1s) for tips and unexpected expenses so I don't have to reach for my wallet every time must time. It worked well and I would recommend it. As others have said, I wish the corners and edges were a little softer, but that worked well for me on this ride.

Crazy that something so simple could be so poorly designed/executed. Maybe it was a lack of quality control and not all clips are like the one I received. But the steel on it is too strong, so you can't plug and unplug paper money without tearing it. I've tried loosening it up a bit to loosen it up a bit but to no avail. I bought this for my husband because the upscale items I give him each year always break. So I have to change them every year. I asked our kids to draw little pictures and I used a dremel to engrave the pictures onto the surface of the money clip to make it special. As a result, it was a priceless gift, and the clip is beautiful, dense and of excellent quality!

Beautiful design and workmanship. Looks strong and strong. It's definitely thin and smaller than I imagined. However, I have 15 bills in it. Difficult to get in but holds money well. If it resolves over time I'll give 5 stars. As for investing money. It's 4 stars because it's too tight and maybe an inch too small.

When I first got this clip it was a bit stiff. I clip it to my wallet so I had to expand the clip. So far it's been working great to keep my money in place. Since this clamp is rigid, I suspect I'll run into problems going from a large number of bills to a few, but this hasn't been verified.
