The long black plastic paddles are too soft to press hard.

The long black plastic paddles are too soft to use force. But the rest of the tools are good enough to last most weekend warriors. Pentalobe driver is suitable for MacBook Pro with unified body.

A bunch of cheap tools of different sizes?

The size of the driver does not match the description as far as I can tell. I didn't have the right tools to disassemble a 2013 (late) Retina MBP so I had to buy a separate 5T driver and use the other tools I already had. The spudgers broke almost immediately (no wonder).

He got the job done with screwdrivers and wrenches

These tools did the job I needed them for. I could have used a different Phillips screwdriver that was between the large and small screwdrivers they provide. I used them to replace the hard drive and memory in a 2012 Macbook Pro. The screws I am talking about were on the back of the computer to remove the case. Good quality. I would probably spend a little more money if I made the purchase again and got a better set.

Used Yellow and Brown to replace the hard drive on my MBP

To replace the hard drive on my MacBook Pro 2010 I used a YELLOW TOP screwdriver to remove the MBP cover and also the hard drive bracket solve. The BROWN TOP screwdriver worked for 4 mounting rods. Hope that helps. Yes, they are weak, but they get the job done. RECOMMENDATION TO THE MANUFACTURER: How difficult would it be to include a small piece of paper with color code, screwdriver type and size?

Useful but cheap for disassembling a MacBook Pro

The good news is that there are many different screwdrivers in this set, all of which will come in handy in my MacBook Pro (Mid 2012). It has the exotic tamper-proof drivers needed to remove and replace any part of the laptop. The small carrying case is good. The bad news is that the tools are very cheap. Spudgers are a joke. They are so fragile that they break almost immediately when used. Metal tools are cheap metal and won't stand up to heavy use, but you probably won't use them much, right?
