I love simple products. I have combination skin prone to acne. If your whole body is oily I recommend the foam, but it works on my dry areas without tightening them and still effectively cleanses oily areas. and prefer heavy lather, which this product doesn't really offer. This cleanser is similar to the discontinued Simple Micellar Gel Wash. The ingredients are also very similar. The consistency is slimier than this cleanser, but just as gentle.

I've used Cetaphil Gentle Daily Cleanser and my face burned every time. Then I learned that Sodium Laureth Sulfate (an ingredient in Cetafil) is classified as a Level 5 irritant by cosdna. I bought this cleanser because it has an amazing cosmetic record - no irritants or acne-causing ingredients. It removes thick layers of sunscreen from my face without burning or removing the moisturizer. I will definitely continue to buy this product.

I don't know how I feel about this. It's VERY slimy, worse than any soap free wash I've used. Apparently my skin is irritated rather than helped so I stopped using it. I have combination skin and dry skin.

I have been using this brand for many years and have always been happy with it. I have combination skin and it doesn't dry me out. I use twice a day. Gel, moisturizing, fragrance-free.

Definitely great for very sensitive skin (simple, pure ingredients). But it doesn't clean the face very well. Since it doesn't contain soap (I think) it doesn't clean my face very well. I don't aim for squeaky clear skin, but this gel coats my skin instead of scraping off excess oil. When I add my moisturizer afterwards, my face just gets sticky. I'll use it until I run out (it's not scary) or until I buy something better. I miss micellar angels. :(
