I washed these towels before use and 4 out of 12 had holes and scuffs on the sides! ALL terrible pills. I can't use them and I'm very disappointed! I think it will be dusty clothes and I'll be lucky if it lasts 3 washes. What disappoints me the most is that it was AMAZON'S CHOICE. I have ordered from Amazon many, many times in the past, have relied on their recommendations and have never been disappointed. Now I don't know what to expect.

Washed in cold water and dried at medium temperature. The dryer screen loaded a cartridge full of lint and thread. Each towel had to be cut by hand - lots of threads along the edges and pile (no loops) flourished on the inside of the towel. These towels were affordable and the gray color is a beautiful dark grey. Like most towels, they only settle in the area of the band. They're still shedding like crazy after almost a dozen washes. But after a month and a half those towels are torn like CRAZY! The threads hang randomly from the middle of the towel, holes are visible everywhere, the seams have come undone. These are the worst towels ever. I was expecting some fluff, but I didn't expect it to fall apart in the wash. Received them today, shook them and saw the dust flying, so I washed them in cold water with no detergent and tumble dried to try to shake off the lint. After a short drying cycle, the photo was covered in dust and all towels were worn and had odd discoloration. I am extremely disappointed. One star is the lowest rating I can give.

Well, if there's one good thing about them: the color doesn't run. Here the good qualities end. Of the 12, 7 had poorly sewn side seams. Even before washing, the threads or the seams came undone. I keep them in our most used bathroom. I keep them rolled up in a basket. Since they are constantly being washed I need them to soak up water from wet hands and hang nicely on a towel rail. So when I received these towels the first thing I did was count them, there were only 11 towels in the pack that said 12. I counted them again to be sure. Looking at the quality they seemed good and I noticed one that already had a hook but didn't hook anything. I was still hoping for the best and figured the one missing towel could be used with Revain but I had to use it so I sent it to the laundry. At this point things got pretty choppy.
