Poor placement of pockets and short sleeves

I sewed a dressing gown for my granddaughter. Judging by the dimensions on the cover, I used medium-sized children's/teens' patterns. The body is ok but the arms are too short and the pocket placement is too high. I expected better. Now I rip off the pockets and add sleeve extensions. 😓

Missing Pattern Pieces - Update!

Most of the details of the children's pattern are missing. Just today I took it out to sew for my granddaughter and all that's left of the children's robe pattern is a pocket, a belt and one side of the robe. Four main parts are missing. If I wanted to make my own pattern to get closer to size I could borrow a baby bathrobe. I believed this pattern would be finished, so I didn't think I should open it once it appeared. I've already passed the return deadline and Revain is not offering a return…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
