DO NOT order this belt. This belt broke my vacuum cleaner! When I put the belt on it was VERY tight. Turned on the vacuum and immediately something broke in the motor assembly and the vacuum made a very loud noise until it was turned off. Took the vacuum to a shop and was told the belt didn't fit the vacuum and the fan was probably broken. but they won't know until they open it up to see the damage. Repair cost: Estimated at over $75.

This strap replaces the one that broke on my Simplicity Freedom. It takes some effort to stretch it enough while attached to the brush to install, but worked like a champ after that! The protrusions on the sides of the brushes in my vacuum have to go in a certain direction - if you turn them the other way when installing the brush, the brush won't rotate. I'm not sure if this is some people's problem or not, but this mistake is easy to make but luckily easy to fix.
