Very useful for keeping liquids cooler longer during hot summer trips. A little difficult to squeeze, you have to change the grip to get to the bottom of the bottle, but the jet is ok.

Not used yet. I am repelled by creases on the product due to the insulation. Instead, I had to buy a stainless steel thermos. For example a spout and other attractive features.

Water bottle arrived quickly. Stepdaughter loved the cat design. The bottle is insulated and the design looks like a piece of cloth sandwiched between layers of plastic. The outer plastic is opaque so the design is not as clear as shown in the picture. Also, the bottle is not flat at the bottom, it hardly stands up, it constantly staggers.

This water bottle is terrible. It is difficult to drink from the lid, the bottle constantly falls, there is practically no insulation. I poured in ice water and after a few hours it was room temperature. Very disappointed, waste of money, I threw it away because nobody wanted to take it out of their hands. That's the quality of a dollar bottle. Overpriced for how crappy it is.

I bought this along with the camelback podium cooler at the same time to see what I would like better. I prefer the camelback product. it looks better, the valve works better and is nicer overall. If I were to buy another water bottle I would choose the Camelback product. Nothing fancy with the purist, it's just not as polished as a camelback. I am writing a review after a few weeks of use.

I love these puristic bottles, especially the watertight lid. They are insulated and cool drinks a bit, but still have warm water on a 90 degree day. I don't think it's true that Purist bottles don't retain odors. I have a water bottle and a sports drink bottle and I can always tell which is which. I ordered one of these Watergate bottles. I liked it so I ordered 2 more. The bottles that came had a different cap. The old bottle had a clear cap which I later found out was a moflo cap (I think the seller sent the wrong bottle). The new bottles have the gray cap pictured here and it is a watertight cap. So what's the difference? The Moflo cap does not have a "heart valve". Basically, this feature allows the bottle to be open and bouncing around in the bike cage without the liquid leaking…
