Great Filter: Filtering under the sink and countertop

We used this filter on our RV to ensure our water was clean and safe wherever we went in the US. Excellent quality Well made Best price we could find

Great price for a whole house filter system!

I bought 2 of these filters for my home. One acts as a pre-filter for the AOSmith whole house filter system and the AOSmith whole house descaling system. The second is a post filter for this system. The unit price is great, the quality of the product is excellent and the replacement filters are good value. The kit includes high quality mounting brackets.

Don't skimp on the TFE band

Easy to install (mount works very well) and works great. The only problem was that both 3/4" NPT fittings were leaking when running. I used brass fittings and ended up using twice as much TFE tape as usual (about 10 turns instead of 5 turns). and had to turn it all the way to get the back of the brass NPT fitting in contact with the body. Don't skimp on Teflon tape.

High quality filter housing with excellent customer support

After reading the reviews I was wary of problems with the profile assembly and the missing o-ring. I received the case quickly and upon arrival checked the cap for the presence of an o-ring. I couldn't believe it, no o-ring. I contacted the seller and got a new one a few days later. Was the replacement the same? On closer inspection, the o-ring is the clear silicone you should really be looking for, not the black o-ring used on this type of filter. satisfied with the result and good customer…
